With Ticket Transfer, you can transfer all or some of your tickets from one Ticketmaster account to another. It’s easy, safe and completely free. When you transfer tickets to another fan and they accept them, the recipient is issued a new barcode that only they can use. The tickets in the sender’s account will no longer be valid for entry.

To transfer your tickets, follow these steps:

- Select Transfer. If you receive a message that the Event Organiser hasn’t activated transfer, your tickets aren’t eligible for transfer.
- You'll receive a text with a one-time code to verify your identity. Type in the code and select Confirm. If you did not receive your code, visit our help page to learn more.
- Select the tickets you'd like to transfer and select Transfer To.
- Enter your recipient's phone number or email address.
- Select Transfer Ticket.
-
- Sign into your team or venue's site. You can search for your team or venue by using the following link: https://am.ticketmaster.com/.

Your transferred tickets will show in your account as sent. Once the recipient has accepted them, you’ll receive an email confirming the ticket has been accepted. After a successful Ticket Transfer, the ticket in your account is no longer valid for event entry.
How do I know if the tickets have been accepted?
Once you send a ticket, you’ll see either:
- Waiting to accept or Sent, which means your recipient haven't accepted the transferred tickets yet. Remind them to check their Ticketmaster Account on Ticketmaster.co.uk for the tickets or in their email or text messages for the transfer invite.
- Accepted by or Claimed, which means the transfer has been successful.
How do I transfer items other than tickets?
If the Event Organiser has activated transfer for additional items other than the tickets, you can begin the transfer process from our Ticketmaster Account.
To transfer eligible extras, follow these steps:
- Sign into your Ticketmaster Account on Ticketmaster.co.uk
- Find your order in the My Tickets section.
- Under the My Extras section, click the Transfer button.
- Select the item you’d like to transfer. If an item is grayed out, it is not eligible for transfer.
- Enter the recipient’s details and include an optional message.
- Once you’ve reviewed your information, click Confirm.
- If you’d like to transfer another item, click Transfer Another Extra.
Your transferred items will show in your account as sent. Once the recipient has accepted them, you’ll receive an email confirmation. After a successful transfer, the item in your account is no longer valid for use from your Ticketmaster Account.
Ticket insurance originally purchased or included with the ticket is not transferable and will not apply to transferred tickets.
You can use Ticket Transfer for most events, but some have rules and restrictions. To discover if your ticket can be transferred, go to your order and select the Transfer button.
Can I transfer parking that I purchased for my event?
To check if your parking is eligible for transfer, go to your order in your online account. If the transfer button is greyed out, transfers aren’t available.
Ticket insurance isn't eligible for transfer.
Will the person I transfer tickets to need a Ticketmaster Account?
Yes, but if they don’t have one, it only takes seconds to create a Ticketmaster Account.
If they have an account already, use the email address associated with their Ticketmaster Account for the Ticket Transfer - it’s easier for them to accept tickets that way.
Visit the help page How to create a Ticketmaster Account for more information.
Can I transfer tickets that were transferred to me?
Yes, once you accept the tickets, they're all yours. If you can’t use them, simply transfer them to someone else.
Can I transfer my tickets before they are delivered to me?
Yes, if your event is eligible for Ticket Transfer, you’re good to go — even if your tickets haven’t been delivered to you yet.
The option may not be available for one of the following reasons:
- The venue doesn't offer Ticket Transfer yet.
- The artist or venue turned Ticket Transfer off for that event/section.
- The event was cancelled (ticket buyers are automatically refunded).
- The event has already happened.
- The tickets were bought over the phone.
- Ticket Transfer hasn't been enabled for the event. If the Event Organiser chooses to activate transfer, it will be available no later than 48 hours before the event.
I received an error while accepting tickets. What should I do?
Go to your Upcoming Events and refresh the page to see if the tickets appear. If the sender is unable to cancel the transfer and resend the tickets, contact Fan Support.
