Do I need a mobile phone to attend The Championships 2021?
You will need either an Android or IOS mobile device in order to display your ticket for entry into the Grounds. Your ticket will be available through the Official Wimbledon App. Tickets are compatible with IOS and Android operating systems. A video guide on how to access your ticket can be found here.
When will I receive my ticket(s) for The Championships?
Mobile tickets will be issued 48 hours before the day you have booked for via the Wimbledon app. In the meantime, you can manage your tickets through your myWIMBLEDON account.
What if my plans change and I can no longer attend? Can I sell my tickets to friends or family or online?
If you are no longer able to attend, please contact the Ticket Office on firstname.lastname@example.org without delay. We will cancel your tickets and arrange a refund right up to 24 hours before the day you are due to attend. Tickets (other than Debenture tickets) are not permitted for unauthorised transfer or sale.
What if I missed out on the initial sale? What next?
You will still have access to returned tickets which will be available up to and throughout The Championships. You will need to ensure you have signed up to myWIMBLEDON.
Am I able to hold both mine and my guest's tickets on one myWIMBLEDON account?
No. It is important that you share your additional ticket with your guest for Grounds entry. We strongly advise you to do this promptly after receiving your tickets. Your guest will need to retain their ticket on their own device.
Will a scan of my photo ID or a bank card suffice for entry?
Wimbledon asks that you bring the original of your photo ID for an undisrupted Grounds entry. Bank cards are not considered an acceptable form of photo ID.
Can I leave the Grounds during the day and come back? If so, what will I need to re-enter the Grounds? Will my guest be able to do the same?
Yes, but please ensure you ask a member of the Security Team to scan your ticket out. Please be aware, you will be required to show Photo ID and your mobile ticket when you return.
I need to bring a carer. How do I purchase my tickets using this online system and how much does a ticket for a carer cost?
Please purchase two tickets. Once you have a confirmed booking please contact the Ticket Office on email@example.com to discuss your specific requirements.
Prior to your visit, we will issue you with a mobile ticket for the day you have booked for. Please ensure you share your additional ticket with your Guest (if you have purchased a pair). We strongly advise you do this promptly after receiving your tickets. You will receive an email once your tickets have been issued which will contain clear instructions on how to access and manage your ticket(s). You will also need to download the Official Wimbledon App in order to display your ticket upon entry to the Grounds.
