There is plenty of information located below about The Manchester Arena. If your question isn't answered below, please contact us for assistance.
Are There Any Age Restrictions?
The management team for this venue has provided the following information to help customers who have young children and are considering attending an event with them.
Please note that all persons require a ticket for admission into the Arena unless the event organiser specifically advises otherwise.
Please always check the event or the venue's site.
Please always check the event or the venue's site.
1) My child is between 0 and 18 months
The venue does not recommend that any child in this age group is brought to the arena for any event. Very few shows, if any, are aimed at this age group. Even attending family shows and shows aimed at older children can be an uncomfortable experience for this age group. All persons require a paid ticket even if sharing a seat with a parent unless the event organiser specifically advises otherwise.
2) My child is 18 months - 5 years
The venue strongly recommends that children in this age group do not attend concerts although this is at the parent or guardian's discretion. Please check for any age restrictions put in place by the event organisers for each specific show.
For children's shows, the sound levels etc. are generally appropriate for this age group but please check the event details on our website and contact us for further advice if you are in any doubt. All persons require a paid ticket even if sharing a seat with a parent unless the event organiser specifically advises otherwise.
3) Ages 5 and over
The venue advises customers to consider carefully before bringing young children to concerts and comedy events not specifically targeted at children. Please bear in mind that a live show may be very different to what is shown when the act performs on television. So, an event may not be suitable even if the child enjoys the act's television show. Noise levels may not be suitable for your children. Please remember that adults attend concerts and comedy events to relax and enjoy themselves. Your children may not be used to this type of atmosphere and may not enjoy the experience.
If in any doubt, please check the event information and if you require any further advice contact us directly and we shall always be happy to assist.
Can I Take A Camera/Video Recorder?
As a general rule, small cameras for personal use (simple phone cameras, disposable cameras etc.) will usually be allowed. However, please note that certain acts have very strict requirements and will not permit any recording or photography whatsoever.
Any professional type equipment (high-quality video cameras, SLR cameras etc.) will not be allowed under any circumstances.
Is The Venue Accessible For Wheelchair Users?
The venue has a number of areas within the auditorium that offer access to wheelchair users and their companions. For more information or to book tickets, please call the Accessibility Co-ordinator on 0161 950 5229.
