Welcome!

HAMILTON is coming to the West End! Preview shows will be taking place from the 21st November 2017 to 6th December. Opening night is 7th December running to 30th June 2018 for the first booking period at Victoria Palace Theatre. Tickets will go on priority presale on Monday 16th January at 12pm GMT for customers who have registered through the Hamilton website in late 2016, and ends at 23:59 GMT on 23rd January 2017. Tickets will then be available to the general public from 30th January at 12pm GMT.

We expect demand for HAMILTON tickets to be exceptionally high so click here for some helpful tip to speed up the booking process.

The producers of HAMILTON are determined to combat unauthorised resale and to protect patrons from having to pay highly-inflated prices. Therefore, Delfont Mackintosh Theatres will be operating a new paperless ticketing system, HAMILTON Paperless Ticketing, powered by Ticketmaster, which will prevent computer programmes (‘bots’) from harvesting vast amounts of tickets to make available for resale at inflated prices.

No traditional tickets will be issued in advance. The payment card you use to originally purchase your tickets will gain you admission to the theatre on the night.

When you book, you’ll receive a simple email confirmation as proof of purchase. This is not a ticket. Upon arrival at the theatre, you’ll be required to present your original email confirmation, your original payment card and a Government-issued photo ID such as a driving license or passport as proof of ID. The cardholder must be present and attend the performance.

The theatre will then swipe your card to produce seat location slips which gain you and your party admittance into the auditorium. All members of the party should enter the theatre at the same time.

Ticket Prices

There will be Preview performances from 21st November to 6th December 2017.
Tickets will be priced £32.50, £47.50 or £79.50. Premium tickets will be available at £127.50, with £190 on Friday 1st and Saturday 2nd December 2017.

From the 7th December 2017 tickets will be priced£37.50, £57.50 or £89.5. Premium tickets will be available at £137.50 and £200.

Daily Lottery Tickets will be available on the day at the box office at the theatre for £20 each – these are limited to 2 per person.
Weekly Lottery Tickets will be available for performances taking place the following online for £37.50 each – again limited to 2 per person.

There will be no additional booking fees. All ticket prices include a £1.25 theatre restoration levy.

Ticket Limts

During the Priority booking period, there is a strictly-enforced limit of 4 tickets per person, per booking period.

For the general on-sale on 30 January, the limit rises to 6 tickets per person, per booking period.

These restrictions are in place in order to give as many people as possible a fair chance to buy tickets to HAMILTON.

PLEASE NOTE that any and all transactions that are detected as bot purchases, patrons creating duplicate accounts in order to purchase more than the ticket limit or any action that indicates a purchase in excess of the ticket limit will be cancelled without consideration.

How do I pay?

You can pay online using Visa, Mastercard and American Express credit and debit cards.

Unfortunately as customers need to take the payment card and ID, gift cards and Theatre tokens can’t be accepted as payment as the bookings must be linked to a payment card which will be swiped on entry to the theatre.

When will I receive my tickets?

Remember, HAMILTON is operating paperless ticketing - therefore no tickets will be posted or emailed in advance.

What do I need to bring with me to the theatre on the night?

Three things:

·         your original purchase confirmation,

·         the payment card used to make the original purchase

·         an officially-issued photo ID such as a driving license or passport.

I can’t find my original confirmation email. What should I do?

You can generate a receipt for your booking at any time from your Ticketmaster account – find out more about that click here.

What if my credit card expires before the performance?

We will always try and contact patrons whose payment card expires between the time of the booking and the day of the performance so that a new card number can be applied to the booking. This new card number will then become the valid card associated with that booking and the new card is the one which needs to be presented at the theatre on the night of the performance. The payment will remain on the original card. No debits or charges will be made on the new card.

Although we will make best endeavours to contact you, we may not have your most up-to-contact details. Therefore, you will also need to be aware of changes to your own card details. If you have not heard from us, please contact us in order for your card details to be updated and make sure there are no hold ups in you entering the theatre.

What if my card is lost or stolen before the performance?

If the account number on your reissued card differs from the one you originally used to purchase the tickets with, you will need to contact us in advance of the performance in order that they can add your new card number to your booking.  This new card number will then become the valid card associated with that booking and the new card is the one which needs to be presented at the theatre on the night of the performance. The payment will remain on the original card. No debits or charges will be made on the new card.

Can I give tickets as a gift or issue a Letter of Authorisation for someone else to attend?

Unfortunately not. Hamilton is operating a Ticketless admission system designed to limit the transferability of tickets in order to prevent touting and the unauthorised reselling of tickets at inflated prices. If we allowed people to transfer tickets, it would create a flaw in the reason why the system was adopted.

If you have tickets but your circumstances change, contact us up to 48hrs before a performance and we will cancel and refund your booking subject to a cancellation fee of £3.00 per ticket.

Can I cancel or resell tickets which I can no longer use?

The reselling of any HAMILTON ticket is strictly forbidden. Any ticket offered for resale will be immediately cancelled.

However, if you can no longer attend a performance for a legitimate reason, please contact us up to 48hrs before a performance and we will cancel and refund your booking subject to a cancellation fee of £3.00 per ticket.

Less than 48hrs before a performance, we can only refund tickets at the producers’ discretion.

Can I exchange my tickets for a different performance?

As above, contact us and, up to 48hrs before a performance, we will cancel and refund your original booking subject to a cancellation fee of £3.00 per ticket.  We will then book you into an alternative performance, if seats are available.

Less than 48hrs before a performance, we can only refund tickets at the producers’ discretion.

Age Restrictions

Since HAMILTON contains some strong language, the show is appropriate for ages 10+. Children under 4 are not permitted into the theatre. Children under 16 years old must be accompanied by an adult.

How long is the show?

HAMILTON runs 2 hours 45 minutes including one 15-minute interval.

Can I make a Group Booking?

Due to the anticipated high demand for HAMILTON tickets, we are unable to accommodate any group bookings during the first booking period.

If the results don’t quite answer your question, click the Contact Us tab which will appear once you’ve clicked on an answer. From there, you’ll be able to send a message to our Customer Service team.
